As a solo developer on this project, I was responsible for:
- Creating the concept
- Planning and organising the project’s development
- Designing the game
- Programming all the game logic and systems
- Drawing the pixel art assets
This is a short experimental project that I developed in one week for the pixel horror game jam, hosted by Serious Point Games on itch.io. I’d been playing around with the idea of taking the concept of Analog horror series “Midwest Angelica” into an interactive experience by making a game inspired by it with my own twists, and I saw this game jam as the perfect opportunity to act on this. I’m responsible for all the development of this game, with the exception of working with independent horror composer “MXXN” who created the music and sound effects for the project. For more details on the features, story, and downloads of the game – please visit the game on one of the stores below.
